How does monthly porta potty billing work?

Monthly porta potty billing runs on a 28-day cycle, not a calendar month. The 28-day rate includes weekly service. The first cycle adds a one-time delivery and pickup fee, so cycle 2 onward costs less. The rental renews every 28 days until you call to end it.

What does a 3-month rental look like?

A 3-month rental is about 3.2 billing cycles. Example: a standard unit from March 1 runs cycle 1 to March 28, cycle 2 to April 25, cycle 3 to May 23 and cycle 4 to June 20. Call before May 23 if the job ends in May, so cycle 4 never starts.

Who rents porta potties long-term?

Long-term porta potty renters include builders on 3 to 12 month projects, farms during harvest, pools and ballfields from Memorial Day to Labor Day, churches with failing plumbing, businesses waiting on a septic repair, and owner-builders living on site in an RV.

See also seasonal rentals and industrial restrooms.

Is there a long-term contract?

Long-term porta potty rentals have no contract. You pay each 28-day cycle by card and call when you want the unit gone. Contractors with several sites can keep one card on file for all jobs.

Long-term rental questions

Is monthly billing 30 days or 28 days?

Billing is every 28 days. That means 13 cycles in a year, not 12.

Does the price drop after the first month?

Cycle 2 onward costs less, because the one-time delivery and pickup fee is only charged on the first cycle.

Can I reduce service to save money?

Weekly service is the minimum on long-term rentals, because a tank left longer fills and smells. Light-use sites can talk to us about the right count.

What happens if I forget to call for pickup?

The rental renews for another 28 days. Set a reminder a few days before each cycle ends.

Can I keep a porta potty for a year?

Year-long rentals are common for builders and owner-builders. Winter units get antifreeze from November to March.

Can I add a hand wash station to a long-term rental?

A hand wash station can be added at the 28-day add-on rate, refilled at each weekly service.
