What makes a deluxe porta potty different?
A deluxe porta potty has a foot-pedal flush, a fresh-water sink with a foot pump, a soap dispenser, paper towels and a mirror. The deluxe unit carries its own fresh-water tank, so it needs no hose or outlet. Guests rinse hands without walking to a separate station.
The flush rinses the bowl with blue-tinted fresh water, which keeps the tank out of sight. That one change makes the unit feel closer to a home bathroom. Deluxe units are the most common upgrade for bridal showers, office parties and backyard weddings.
Planning 100 or more guests? A restroom trailer handles more flushes. Need more space for a wheelchair? See the accessible unit.

When is a deluxe porta potty worth it?
A deluxe porta potty is worth it for showers, rehearsal dinners, office events and backyard weddings of 40 to 80 guests where a sink inside matters. A deluxe unit is not the right pick for a construction crew, a 150-guest wedding, or a site where the unit would sit unserviced for weeks.
Good fit
- Bridal and baby showers
- Backyard weddings up to about 80 guests (2 units)
- Corporate picnics and open houses
- Events where guests dress up
Wrong fit
- Construction crews – the sink gets heavy use and empties fast
- 150+ guests – book a restroom trailer
- Multi-week rentals with no refill visits
How much does a deluxe flushing porta potty cost?
A deluxe flushing porta potty starts at $349 for a weekend event in Allentown, delivered Thursday or Friday and picked up Monday. The price includes fresh water, soap, paper towels and toilet paper. Extra refill visits for multi-day events are quoted per visit, and 6% PA sales tax is added.
Compare it with a standard unit plus a separate hand wash station on the price guide. For one unit, the deluxe usually costs less than the pair.
Where should a deluxe unit go at a party?
Place a deluxe porta potty on level ground 50 to 100 feet from the food tables, with the door facing a lit path. A deluxe unit needs no hose or outlet, so it can sit anywhere the truck can reach within about 15 feet. Level ground matters more here, because the flush tank sloshes on a tilt.
- Mark the spot with a cone the day before.
- Add a string light or lantern for evening events.
- Keep it downwind of the dining area.
Does a deluxe porta potty need service during my event?
A deluxe porta potty needs no service during a one-day event of up to about 40 guests. A weekend festival or a two-day family reunion should book one refill visit. The refill adds fresh water, soap and paper and pumps the waste tank so the flush stays clean.
Tell us the guest count and hours on the call and we'll say whether a refill is needed.
Deluxe unit or standard unit plus hand wash station?
A deluxe unit puts the sink inside, while a standard unit plus a hand wash station puts the sink outside. For a single restroom, the deluxe unit usually costs less and takes less space. For two or more toilets, standard units with shared hand wash stations usually cost less.

Deluxe flushing unit questions
Does a flushing porta potty need a water hookup?
The deluxe unit carries its own fresh-water tank. No hose, plumbing or outlet is needed. We fill the tank at the yard before delivery.
How many flushes does a deluxe porta potty hold?
A full fresh-water tank gives roughly 150 to 200 flushes, depending on how hard guests press the pedal. That covers a typical 40-guest party with room to spare.
Is there a mirror and light in the deluxe unit?
A mirror is mounted above the sink. Light comes through the translucent roof during the day. For evening events, a battery light can be added on request.
Is the deluxe unit bigger than a standard porta potty?
The deluxe unit has about the same footprint as a standard unit, about 44 by 48 inches. The extra parts sit inside, so it fits the same gates and driveways.
Will I get a clean, newer unit for a wedding?
Event deluxe units are kept separate from jobsite units. Each one is pressure-washed, inspected and photographed before it leaves the yard.
Can I mix one deluxe unit with standard units?
Many hosts rent one deluxe unit for guests and one standard unit for overflow. It keeps the budget down while giving guests a sink inside.
