What restroom setup does a wedding need?
A wedding of 100 to 150 guests with dinner and a bar needs one 2-stall restroom trailer, or 4 deluxe flushing units plus 2 hand wash stations. Add one wheelchair-accessible unit whenever older guests or guests with mobility needs attend. A 200-guest wedding needs a 3-stall trailer.
| Guests (6-hr reception, bar) | Trailer option | Porta potty option |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | VIP cabin + 1 deluxe | 2 deluxe + 1 hand wash |
| 100 | 2-stall trailer | 4 deluxe + 2 hand wash |
| 150 | 2-stall trailer + 1 deluxe | 5 deluxe + 3 hand wash |
| 200 | 3-stall trailer | 7 units + 4 hand wash |
| 250 | 3-stall + 2-stall | 8 units + 4 hand wash |
Trailer or deluxe porta potties for a wedding?
Choose a restroom trailer when a garden hose and a 110-volt outlet are within about 100 feet and the budget allows. Choose deluxe flushing units when the site has no hookups, the ground is uneven, or the budget is tight. Both give guests a flush and a sink.

Where should wedding restrooms go?
Place wedding restrooms 50 to 150 feet from the reception tent, downwind, out of the ceremony sightline and on a lit path. Keep the back of the trailer toward the photo backdrop. The truck needs a firm route to the spot the day before, while the lawn is still empty.
- Walk the route with your planner before booking.
- Mark the spot with flags.
- Ask the venue where the hose and outlet are.

How far ahead should I book wedding restrooms?
Book a wedding restroom trailer 4 to 8 weeks ahead for June, September and October Saturdays in the Lehigh Valley. Deluxe units can often be booked 1 to 2 weeks out. Booking does not require a deposit, and you can cancel free up to 24 business hours before delivery.
What happens on the wedding weekend?
On the wedding weekend, the driver sets units Thursday or Friday, levels them and stocks paper, soap and towels. Trailers are hooked to the hose and outlet and tested. Pickup is Monday morning, after your rental company clears the tent.
Wedding restroom questions
Will we get clean, newer units for our wedding?
Wedding units are kept separate from jobsite units and are inspected before every event. You can ask for a photo of your exact unit.
Does a restroom trailer need an attendant?
Most weddings under 200 guests do not need one. For black-tie events, an attendant can be quoted.
Can the trailer run during a power outage?
Add a generator to the order and the trailer runs without the venue's power.
Is there air conditioning in the trailer?
Our trailers have air conditioning and heat, which matters for July and October weddings.
Can you deliver to a farm or barn venue?
Farm venues are common. Tell us about gravel lanes, gates and soft fields so the right truck is sent.
Do we need an accessible restroom at the wedding?
If any guest uses a wheelchair or walker, add a ground-level accessible unit next to the trailer. Most trailers have steps.
